Skapa Development is a boutique software development shop located in Albuquerque, New Mexico specializing in creating custom business solutions.
Skapa Development was started when Zach was working in finance for a high growth company in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Despite a sizable investment from a private equity firm, he spent the majority of his time building systems in Excel and Google Sheets. While the systems provided significant ease of use, better reporting and time-savings he realized two things:
- If a company with millions of dollars was still struggling with eliminating manual tasks there were tons of companies without millions of dollars struggling with these issues that no one was solving.
- Custom software solutions can save companies $10K+ per year by eliminating manual tasks and providing insights with a few clicks of a button.
So along with his brother who had been doing software development full-time for the last 8 years, they started Skapa Development. Our goal of starting the business was to develop software that helps businesses scale and become more efficient (and ultimately more profitable) all while enhancing their customers' experience.
We believe the software development process is a partnership. In which we bring our expertise into the design process as well as listen and understanding our clients’ needs.
